Canada’s vast geography made it the perfect proving ground for Innocenti’s claim that Lambretta was built for adventure. As early as 1959 Canadian riders pushed these machines far beyond city limits, showing what they could do. That exploration is what ultimately carried Lambretta into Expo 67; Canada’s national story.

North of 49 is a two-year national heritage movement celebrating 70 years of Innocenti uniting Italian engineering, Canadian history, and the living Lambretta community from coast to coast. It begins Feb 2026 in Canada’s Nation Capital Ottawa at the Italian Canadian Historical Center and Preston Square - Little Italy.
